Frequently Asked Questions about “Your Cameras Live”

1. What’s my Account Name?  The EYESthere Solutions Representative gave this to you in your initial training.  On later screens you will also need your User ID and Password.



2. Is This Secure?  You will be asked later for your User ID and Password and have the security you have implemented within your network.  Therefore, there should be several layers of security helping assure your cameras are only accessed by authorized personnel.



3. Why does my Internet Explorer keep asking about ActiveX?  Windows is often shipped with settings with ActiveX not enabled.  If this is the first time you try to run the remote viewer, you may need to do one or more of the following:
• From Internet Explorer, go to “Tools” “Internet Options” and then go to the “Security” tab.  Select the “Custom Level..” button.  Change the security level for all “ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins” to enable or prompt.


• Turn off “pop-up” blockers to allow ActiveX dialog boxes


• Download ActiveX components when prompted
